Named for one of literature’s most famous characters - and the former name of the adjacent alleyway - JULIET is inspired by the bittersweet tale of star-crossed love penned by William Shakespeare over 400 years ago.

The play is set in Verona, northern Italy, where bittersweet, herbal liqueurs known as “amaro” are the spirit of choice.
